My name is Alaina and I am so glad you have decided to visit me in my wool studio. I have been dyeing wool for over 10 years. I started out dyeing just for myself but soon found that there was a great need for dyed wools at a reasonable price.
In summer, I live in the beautiful northwoods of Michigan high above the Lake Michigan shoreline. I spend the winters along the glorious Intercoastal waterway of east Florida. I am surrounded by brillant shades and bright colors of the sunset, waters and lush greenery. I love color, and am able to incorporate these great surrounds into my wools. I started as a rug hooker but soon the passion of dyeing has become almost as important to me as my rug hooking. I love to experiment to try to create unique wools. Every June I am the co-Director of the Manistee Rug School, located in Manistee, Michigan. I use Pendelton, Dorr, and Woolrich wools. I will dye something that just fits the bill for your special piece. I will attempt to match a piece you already have but need more of or have wools available that you just might like. Look over my store and I hope you will like it.

People outside of the United States and Canada can contact me and I will notify you what the additional shipping costs would be. I do not take credit cards.
